Also, like our two Pirats, from the house SZD joined our SZD-24 Foka-4 to the aircraft park of the club. Formerly the Foka was the pattern, which brought the victory at various distance flying championships. Particularly characteristic of them is their very slender and dynamic shape. However, this has the consequence that the cockpit is very narrow and small, which is why unfortunately not everyone can fly with the Foka. Simply for space reasons. Nevertheless, many pilots would be thrilled by the excellent flying characteristics, so that these disadvantages have been improved in the successor, the Foka 5. In Oschatz, however, a small group has not let itself be misled, and has developed into Foka enthusiasts on several distance flights or thermal flights. On occasion we present our club with the Foka also at Oldtimer meetings for gliders.
